Wouldn't it be awesome if the LEGO ISD was to scale with LEGO people?
Then if would be 37.55 metres long!
I'd buy that set right away. After buying an 18-wheeler to transport it.

Holy shit, that's about the size of my house!!
It'd be intersting to try and build something of that size in MLCAD...

As long as someone else builds it for me I'm all for it.

Yeah. It would probably take months...

I would hate to see a scale model of the DS.

Unless we get a large enough group of wookies.

We only would need Ewoks. We are after all, making midget models.

I'd love to have one if someone else pays for it. But I would want to build it personally. Why have a LEGO if you can't build it yourself?

We of the Empire cook Ewoks for dinner as our main dish.

In a lego dude is 2 inches tall, and we assume 2 meters scaled height, that's 1 inch=1 meter, then an DS1 model would be 160 000 inches or 2.5 miles in diameter. The DS2 on the other hand, would be 14 miles in diameter!

Without hair, a LEGO person is 4 cm (not counting the stud on their head). 2 inches is 5 cm. I measured a LEGO person this morning to do the math.

On a related note, if the AT-AT Walker toy was to scale with the normal SW toys, a full-grown adult would be able to stand up inside it (assuming, of course, that the second level deck was removed), and a to scale ISD would measure over a city block in length.

Its nice to see we all still admit to having Lego
Actually, I'd love to see a Scale ISD, and Scales of other Spaceships from other Franchies.
"Fire the Lego Photon Torpedoes!"
Then you and your friends start whipping lego blocks at them (A)
Actually, something like a scale ISD would go up in a science center

A realistic set would be a scale Blockade Runner. It would only be about 4 times as long as the existing one.

A Lego ISD would look so good in my loungeroom, on the coffee table. A scaled one is about as big as the land I live on.

At over 37 meters, all those pieces. were they to make such a thing, it would probably be far too expensive for many people.

All except someone on the level of Bill Gates.

i think it would be cheaper to construct the thing out of aluminium and lightweight composites and fit it with jump-jet engines then it would be to make it out of legos.

Great topic! I posted a similar one about the action figures (but I thought up that one while I was hiking in the mountains last week, so don't accuse me of copying). It really is incredible when you think about it! ; )
