WOTC is evil, long live WEG!

WOTC's Starships of the Galaxy shamelessly rips off
deck plans from WEG. I saw deckplans that I recognized
from the WEG Far Orbit sourcebook attributed by WOTC
as a "generic capital ship bridge", not as a Nebulon B Bridge...

Soon, WotC will lose rights to SW, and if we're lucky, they will be given to people with a mind. WotC was no better at following geometry and common sense than WEG.

I think the people at Decipher had a brilliant game which was unfairly taken away, it was one of the bast games there is.

I agree completely. It was much better than the new game. It had much more depth.

WEG Floorplan
WOTC Floorplan
WOTC isn't even imaginative at all....

It goes without saying that neither one could be correct...
Perhaps WotC merely wanted to continue continuity with WEG, so that's why they retained the same plans?

Many of the designers for those deck plans are truly stupid. When I designed my own YT-2000, I made sure to make use of the third dimension whenever possible to make more room for cargo. I even used artificial gravity generators to position the bunks vertically (so, from the rest of the ship, the beds appear to be oriented with one's feet on the ground). No one in either WEG or WotC has done anything like that. They are just kind of stupid. I know two year olds who can make more intelligent designs.
