Q: Are any unused designs from the previous Episodes going to appear in Episode III?
A: Yes. One of the first things we did was go back, sometimes wayback, and see what would make sense to use from the long list of previously unused designs. Sometimes they fit, sometimes they didn't, and sometimes they served as a starting point that we could work forward or backwards through time to help us arrive at a design. And of course those designs serve as a constant inspiration for us.
So maybe they'll reuse the rejected Star Destroyer concept art (that became the Victory) in Episode III after all. Not that I like the Victory at all. Blech. Rendili Star Drive piece of shit.
