Well when you consider how many times Lucas seems to want to edit ANH it would fit quite well.Hethrir wrote:lol, it just about describes the quality of them as well!
Seriously the names of star wars movies has been getting worser. The Phantom Meneace was kind of ok since it sounded like a star wars title. But Attack of the Clones ? How could George Lucas come up with a title like that ? If this is the scheme of the things to come I would not be surprised if Episode 3 is indeed called "in production". From a sarcastic point of view "in production" is quite correct since the Empire's will be in the making in Episode 3.Hethrir wrote:lol, it just about describes the quality of them as well!
"Attack of the Clones" has the exact same ring as "The Empire Strikes Back."evilcat4000 wrote:

Indeed it does.Vorlon1701 wrote:"Attack of the Clones" has the exact same ring as "The Empire Strikes Back."evilcat4000 wrote:

Maybe you are right. But I expected something different than "attack of the clones". What you said is correct, the names do correctly describe the moives well. But to me a cool name sounds better than an accurate one.Darth Garden Gnome wrote:The titles are fine. They all describe the main focus of the movie quite well, as it happens.
ANH--Luke is obviously the 'New Hope'.
TESB--The Empire kicks the Rebel's butts.
ROTJ--Luke returns from his defeat at Bespin as a Jedi and faces down Vader one last time.
TPM--The menace of Palpatine is revealed; he is hidden however, thus the 'Phantom' bit.
AOTC--The Clone Wars.
I fail to see how they are getting worse at all.
Exactly my point. Both sound pretty damn corny to a newbie. I remember the first time I heard TESB, I thought it was a 50's B flick.XaLEv wrote:Rose colored glasses. Say "The Empire Strikes Back" over and over for a while. Get beyond your initial reaction to it and actually look at what it says.
Because Rise of the Machines was taken.TheFeniX wrote:My only problem with EP II is the wording of the title. I thought the clones were the "bad guys" when I first heard what the title was going to be. It should be: EP II: The clones that saved the Jedi's asses.
