A slight mistake in the AOTC Revelations page?

Here is a part of the quote regarding Palpatine:
If you're Emperor, er ... Chancellor Palpatine, the next phase of the plan seems to be:
1. Order a clone army from Kamino. Order the Jedi Knight Sifo-Dyas to secretly perform the transaction on your executive authority as Supreme Chancellor, since he is a "leading member of the Jedi Council" and his word will be taken at face value.
As that paragraph has stated, Palpatine was already the Chancellor when he ordered Syfo-Dyas to order the clone army.
However, S-Dyas was killed almost ten years ago (and Obi-Wan suspects S-Dyas was killed before that?). At that time, Palpatine was not yet the Supreme Chancellor as ten years or more is in the TPM or Pre-TPM era.
He couldn't have ordered the Clone Army one year after the end of TPM. He might have planned and ordered it much later.

Why not? TPM takes place 10 years before AOTC. If you recall, Palpatine is elected Supreme Chancellor at the end of TPM.

Besides, the Kaminoans are really gullible. "Syfo-Dyas" could really be a non-force sensitive, and they would have believed him.

The time gap between movies is ten years and Palpatine was elected before the end of TPM. The times work out quite perfectly.

Hmm... could he have planned for the Clone Army so soon? Possible?

Yes. We don't know what end result of the Naboo incident he wanted, it may have turned out exactly as planned and he went on with phase two. In any case I'd expect he had a clone army planned no matter the outcome just as long as he became Chancellor.

The only problem with that part of AOTC revelations is that IMO Sifo-Dyas was already dead when the Clone Army was ordered
1: Obi-Wan: told Yoda and Mace Windu that he thought Sifo-Dyas had been killed 'before that'.
2: Jango Fett telling Obi-Wan that he was hired by a man called Tyranus
3: The general cluelessness of the Kaminonians
=
Dooku impersonated Sifo Dyas.

Even if he did, that doesn’t change when the army was ordered which is the issue.

I know, I was just trying to save the thread from irrelevancy.

However, it seemed as if Dooku didn't know anything about the Clone Army, given from his exclamation "Impossible. The Jedi cannot possibly build up an army so quickly." or something to that line.
Was Dooku just pretending he had no idea of the army, or was really unaware of it? If it was the latter, he could not be the one impersonating Syfo-Dyas.
Anyone here think Syfo-Dyas is Sidious? I don't really buy this idea, no matter that his name used to be Sido-Dyas before Lucas decided to change it. It might be changed to avoid confusion, that's all.

Of course he was lying did you forget he's the one who recruited Jango Fett to serve as the template for the clones, and Jango was still working for him

Dooku was bullshitting the Geonosians. The "Bounty Hunter" game gives the exact details of how Dooku hired Jango. He knew about the army

I think Dooku was very well aware of the army. He might not've ordered the clones himself--Syfo could have, then was killed...who knows for sure--but he knew of them probably before the Kamino peeps started cranking them out.
We know he was absolutely aware of them while manipulating the Separatists. When he stepped out of his ship on Coruscant, and your namesake said, "Welcome home, Lord Tyranus," Dooku says, "The Force is with us, Master Sidious. War has begun." Palpatine responds, "You have done well. Everything is proceding as planned."
Dooku also tried to convince Kenobi that the Republic was controlled by Sidious, perhaps in an effort to drive a wedge between the Jedi and Republic itself. What better way for a Supreme Chancellor (or Emperor) to justify a purge of the Jedi?
Sneaky bastards
The Separatists were SOOOO played
I know it's stating the obvious, but Palpatine really screwed them over in so many ways. Had the Trade Federation, Banking Clans, etc. stayed out of all this, Palpatine would not only have had difficulty rising to power, but if he had, those forces would've posed a threat to his budding Empire.
