Immune to the force

Probably been discussed before, but I was wondering if the theory that midi chlorians have anything to do with that, that perhaps they have a plan for the Vong just like they had a plan for Anakin, they made him I mean, perhaps the person's MC's don't wish the person to be harmed by the force, do the vong even have them, perhaps a lack of them could be the cause as well. And, has there ever been a Vong force user, who could both use it AND was immune to it?

Midi-Chlorians are a byproduct of Force sensitivity, not the cause.
Since Yuuzhan Vong have gene which somehow blocks them from the part of the Force that Jedi know how to use, the probably don't have Midi-Chlorians.

They might. Midi-chlorians aren't necessarily limited to the Force spectrum that the Jedi are familiar with.

Ok, it probably has nothing to do with the force, but isn't there a line in...*strains to remember*...one of the NJO books where Nom Anor says he can feel Shiramas mind pressing down on his? Or something along those lines.

The book you're referring to is Destiny's Way, the first time we meet Overlord Shimmra. It seems very strange, almost dream-like, in describing him, but it can be easily interpreted as the use of the Force (or a Force-like power), during the ceremony.
