The Imperial March

Looking at Mike's webpage, he has three different versions of the Imperial March. I listened to all three of them, plus my own losslessly-encoded rip off the soundtrack. I found the increased percussion in the version from Mike's webpage, but otherwise thought it an inferior rendition of it.
So my question is, what's your favorite version?

The orginial of course. Though Piett's Theme is more condensed it's a close secong. The Confrontation with Count Dooku & the Finale was that good clip the Imperial March.

The others are good, and worth having. But the original is easily the best.

You forgot Rage Against the Machine's version in Force Commander. That kicks major ass. Nice use of fret harmonics too.

The original version. It's the first, the best, and the inspiration for all the other ones.
I love the Metallica version as well. And the Force Commander version is the only good thing there is about that game.
I too would like to know about this No Doubt version.

I haven't heard the No Doubt version (though I very much would like to). Howerver, I simply don't like the other ones at all. I listened to them once and promptly deleted them - nothing in it for me.

Probably the soundtrack one, at least for the classical category. I haven't heard the rock variations.

My favourite is at the moment the soundtrack from AOTC version (Just before credits) and after that the real version from the ESB movie. London Symphony orchestra plays much better with more clarity, intonation and precision than the american re-recording (with extra cymbol clanging). And anything that uses anything less than 60 odd plus musicians just doesn't cut it at all!

IIRC, the TESB soundtrack actually does use the London Symphony Orchestra.
