Assume you get powers along the lines of Jedi Outcast as in Dark Siders get Force Lightning and Light Siders have the ability to heal themselves and others.

Edit: I picked Dark because I had a weird dream about hijacking a Lamda shuttle with Darth Vader and a real life form of the pregnant woman from Family Guy.

Light sider. If I ever get that damn Force-Sensitive slot in SWG, light-side Jedi for me...

Light siders cant use their powers for entertainment.

People following the Jedi code can't do that. I don't see why entertainment, which brings happiness and joy, would be against the light side itself.

You obviously don't share my definition of entertainment

It's better to rule in hell than serve in heaven. Also while pure people are to be admired sinners are more fun at parties.

Evil is more fun, but Light-siders get more choice in lightsaber colors (blue, green, purple as opposed to dark-side red). If I could, though, I'd pull a Vergere and use both sides of the Force.

Dark Side. I have tried using the light in JO, and it's so fucking annoying. The powers are way too passive, and I always die.

My strategy: Lots of guns, ammo, sabre, dark powers. Beat the fuck out of the enemy. Screw defense, dead people can't retaliate.

Light...in JK1 I can do Force Bubble of Invinciblity.

In JK2 doesn't matter.

That and I don't have to worry about my power source devouring me would be alot less stressful .

I'd go light if I can still have that Red Sabre. I'll follow the Jedi Code and all, but I want a red sabre.

Dark Side.

I would so be at least partially Dark side.... I mean, come on!

Dark side, no question. The blue lightning that the Sith throw around is just too cool

I'd certainly start OUT on the Light side.

Whether I'd stay there for long is of course questionable.

I'd be at least partially Dark Side. I hope that I would still be good, but I would not let the Jedi code stand in the way of getting a job done that needed to be done for the good of others. If that means using my enemies against themselves, Sith Lightening, Force choke, etc. then I will have no qualms about it. I'd probably be a good Dark Jedi, if that is possible, like Kyle Katarn in JK II.

Isn't Mind Trick considered a Light Power in JK2? I'm too lazy to check.

The problem with the Dark Powers in JK2 is that most of the time you're using the Force itself against your opponent, which means that an adept using Absorb will simply love you.

Yes, Mind Trick is a Lightside power. I play as a Lightside Jedi in JK2, and every single combination I use has Absorb in it. It's so much fun to see one of the Dark Jedi try to Force Grip/Push you over a wall, only for you to come at them with a nice blue haze around you and a full Force meter.

Forgot to mention something. Mind Trick can only be used to 'cloak' yourself from your enemies view in Multiplayer, which is the only time when there is a distinction between Light/Dark -side powers.

The best time to use it is when some fucker tries to Drain you. Activate Absorb, and then use the power meant to heal him to heal yourself.

I'd rather be able to heal myself than hurt others.
