What color would your saber be? Specify your favorite hilt, too.

I'd have a gold one with Anakin's hilt. I think it has an elegant look to it.

I've always been pretty partial to purple. It was my most common saber color in JK1 and 2.

Also Anakin Skywalker's hilt, but with a white blade, as it was in the SW novelisation and early production art/developmental descriptions.

Like Obi-Wan's in ANH? Especially in the Luke vs training probe bits. Doesn't sound too appealing.

I've always loved the meancing of a crimson blade in the dark. Vader's in the Emperor's throne room was just...*shivers* Of course, after havingMaul and Dooku defile its greatness...

So maybe red with a Vader-esque hilt. *shrug* Vder rules.

IIRC, that was still blue. But that point doesn't matter too much.

I was more refering to like in that one production painting for The Star Wars of the stormtrooper holding a lightsabre. Its blade was white.

I've just always thought that white blades seemed more epic and space opera-ish. And for me, real space opera is teh l33t.

Orange. It's my favorite color, plus it's practically unused even in the EU.

I'd chose a very dark blue, maybe a dark green. Then I'd use it to kill anyone who chooses the same shade.

Red is my color.

As a light side Jedi Id take "Lone Star" Orange, but in actuality Id be all about Sith Red.

Normally I hate the color red. However when it comes to my lightsaber, it HAS to be red.

Blue, either Dooku's or RotJ Luke's.

Yellow is my least favorite color, but that's what I'd want my saber blade to be. I don't know why.

Out of the colors in the poll, blue.

I take the purple, it's been my lightsaber color in the RPGs for over ten years. And for the hilt I choose this.

Red bladed, with a practically designed hilt (preferably with lots of black).

I would like a lightsaber with a magenta blade, and a hilt similar to Luke Skywalker's green lightsaber. Except really shiny.

I would like some sort of gauntlet also to prevent wrist amputations like what happened to Luke and Vader. Perhaps a guard for my fingers as well.

Also, i'd like one lightsaber that was scaled down to function more as a dagger (just for kicks0 and I'd also kike a Lightsaber with a grenade charge in the handle. I would then trick my enemies by exploding that in their face while I pretended to throw it a them with the intent of lopping off their head.

I'd be a little wary about a green lightsaber. Consider the track record of green as a saber color:

In TPM, Qui-Gon gets a lighsaber through the chest.
In AOTC, Anakin gets tossed a spare green saber; and at the end of the movie when he attacks Dooku/Tyrranus with two sabers, he gets his hand that was holding the green saber chopped off.
In ROTJ, Luke came perilously close to the Dark Side, again, while wielding a green saber.

I'll stick with basic blue, thanks.

For a sith wannabe there can be only one colour of blade. If i was making it myself and had the knowledge i'd have itr molded and DNA encoded for my hand only. It's be like the Kurgan's from highlander hilt only withough the hand guard. Failing that i'd take Dessans from JO.

Luke's saber as it was in ESB. LOVE the blue blade and Luke's (Anakin's) hilt was just the coolest of all the lightasber hilts. I personally found the prequel era hilts to be sort of meh.

Obi-Wan's OT hilt, purple blade. Although Kyle Katarn's hilt in JK2 isn't too bad either.

Dooku's hilt, silver blade.

Vader's sabre, but with a darker blood-red blade.

Red sabre with Yoda's hilt.

Nah, Vader's is just alright with me. Although I prefer a good blaster at my side.
