Rad's vs. Vong

Post by The Yosemite Bear »

Correct me if I am wrong, but why hasn't anyone thought of using Microwaves, X-Rays or someother form of Radiation against the Vong?

Figure, your talking speed of light (Frequency of light) forces that tend to energize cells, and kill unprotected living things, would be perfect against the biotech Vong.

No better than, say, TLs I would think. One would think that whatever defences the Vong have against TLs and laser cannons, they'd also work against something so simple as EM radiation.

The Vong ships should be bombarded by radiation anyways. Should be absorbing whatever a system's star(s) would be producing, plus anything else out in space.

Yet, their artificial Black holes don't block visible light, or TL's from more then a few angles. They really oyghta be dead by now.

Also since simultanious strikes on the same fighter from more then three angles results in a kill, any homeworld AI would have beat them long ago, not just two Jedi and a Chiss trained Fel.
