I was just wondering, when Count Dooku used Force Lightning against Master Yoda and Obiwan, why didn't they immediately state that he had turned dark?

Because it was obvious to them?

Was Yoda's Force Lightning merely the one absorbed and redirected from Count Dooku, or can Yoda do it as well? I'm asking because in my gaming group there's some....disagreement....on the issue. My take is that its just absorbtion and redirection. My friend's opinion is that Yoda can do it too, since he's a Jedi Master and all that.

From a strictly game perspective, WotC ruled it as a Block and Deflect. Read the article at (please copy and paste instead of just clicking).

Because they had bigger concerns on their mind right then, like stopping him, and didn't have time to state the obvious.
