Star Wars books for sale

For sale, suckas!

The Courtship of Princess Leia
The Jedi Academy trilogy
The New Rebellion
Darksaber
Children of the Jedi

That's 7 books. I'm asking $35 for the lot, but my price is flexible. If there are no takers, I go to eBay or the local used bookstore.

I'm also willing to sell separately, for a dollar below cover price. However, in all cases buyer pays shipping.

All books are in good condition, and none have been read more than three times.

BUY MY BOOKS!

Aren't those the incredibly craptacular books you've been talking about in the other threads?

Yes. Which is why I'm trying to offload them. Thought I might find a buyer, but so far all I seem to be receiving are smartass answers and people chasing away potential customers.

Shoo! :teeth:

I'd just take them straight to Ebay. There are people who actually like Kevin J. Anderson's work, but I'll be damned if you find any of them here!

Potential customers? Here? Given what you've already said at great length about those books? Dalton, what have you been smoking lately? I'm not a smoking man myself, but I think some of the others here will be very pissed off at you for not sharing...

Put them on eBay or sell them to the second-hand book store, you might actually find something worthwhile there to trade those for.

I would consider The New Rebellion, JA trilogy, and the Courtship of Princess Leia. They might not be the best books there, but I am trying to complete my collection.

Yes? If you're interested I'll sell those five to you for...say...$25?

 Well, I know I went on at great lengths about them, but I figured that someone might still want it :)

I don't want to go eBay (seller's fees and crap) so I'm probably going to go the secondhand bookstore route.

If I had the money I would buy the books and a cloak....go up to my balcony with a trash can in place and burn THEM books while looking like I'm a demonic sorcerer~Jason

Edit:They are definitly paperback. Hardcovers are around 20 darn dollars last I check.

No ones going to buy a bunch of used crappy used books for nearly as much as they cost new, though I would like to know how you could stand reading any of them three times? As for selling, I suggest you go on Ebay and offer them as a "surprise bag", a friend of mine offloaded a bag of trash for 50 bucks in that way.

You'd be surprised. There are people out there who LIKE these books. And as I said before, the price is flexible.

Boredom.

I like being honest...but if someone's dumb enough to buy a bag of unidentified contents...

So i see no problem with you selling your books there, buying books on E-Bay is much better than when idiots buy celebrities toe nail clipping.

I'm giving someone here first shot on cheap paperbacks, and it seems most of what I'm getting in return is useless advice from sarcastic quips.

Face it, Rob. Around here, you'd be better off collecting your beard trimmings and advertising them as smelling salts than getting us to buy that pile of crap.

I'm one of the apparent few that liked Courtship of Princess Leia despite it's faults. But I already have the paperback, no need to buy another used copy.

I thought that much of the book was merely fair, while the beginning and end were just lame. But even at its best point, when packaged with the rest of those, it's merely a $1 bill at the top of a dung heap: it's just not worth it.

Welp, looks like there's no reason to keep this open. Mitth, contact me if you're still interested.

As an addendum, I should add that a friend of mine considers CoPL and New Rebellion among her favorite books.
