Jedi as the SW PeaceKeepers Pt 2

Errr,a com problem sent me out of the internet world,mainly keyboard problems,later combined with a system crash.Anyway,here's my reponse to the previous criticisms.......


Point 1.
The Jedi should have responded with deadly force,as a senator and two Jedi Knights were under threat.

Here's a problem,the normal ROEs for such a situation will be to only respond with approiate force against the opponent.The ROEs comprise of Ability,Jeopardy and Oppurtunity.As of this point in time,when Windu threatened Dooku,only the battle droids had the 3 components.Count Dooku,the Genosians,the Trade Federation,all had not violated this ruling yet.As such,maximun force could not be used.

Point 2.
The Trade Federation and the remainding corporations were all in succession and have decleared a seperatist movement against the Republic.

Note:As of this point in time,no civil war exists yet.As such,we should not consider the Jedi in a wartime role.

Point 3.
A SWAT TEAM would have went in with full force,against the seperatists.

Here's a problem,the ROEs again.Under standard procedures,the opponents in question must be given a chance to surrender or otherwise acquiese to the situation.ONLY WHEN IMMINENT HARM IS PRESENT,AS PRESENT UNDER THE ABILITY,JEOPARDY,OPPURTINITY SCENARIO CAN DEADLY FORCE BE UTILISED UNDERWISE.
