Last time I was there was like 1996 or so and I can't remember much of the video. If I recall it was the Battle of Endor you were in but what I can't remember is if it was new material and angles of the battle or just re-used footage from ROTJ? If it was new stuff that would be cool to look at frame by frame and see what new things about the battle we can determine. Is that ride still around?

Yes, Star Tours is still around at all three (?) locations.

They did mostly shoot new effects footage, but most of it was rather simple, such as the Death Star surface details.

Interesting question though, where does it fit on the canon hierarchy.

Very, very low if at all, I would assume.

Nowhere unless youre a rabid TF.netter.

Apparently it was referenced somewhere though.

It's not so much about the ride, but the line wait to get into the ride. That is one of the few rides I don't mind the wait. And it's different too, the one in California's wait is different than Frances.

Hey its LucasFilm endorsed so the logic for it being somewhere on the heirarchy is about as solid as that for the Mandel Blueprints (I know that's bringing another debate in here but it is true).

Well I think the ship in the ride that you were 'on' was refrenced in Spector Of The Past. When Mara arrived at the Errant Venture after trying to track a Chiss transport ship. Hang on...

' "Complete washout," she said. "We tracked their vector to Di'wor but then lost it completely. The traffic around there was fierce - Starspeeder 3000s all over the place." '

Starspeeder 3000 was the class of ship you were on in space tours. The one and only ship in SW confirmed to be equiped with a warp drive :P
