If thats your question why is Zam and Dengar on the list. Oh and Jango, he took down the entire bando gora cult and its twin red lightsabre weilding head-dark-jedi-chick in Star Wars Bounty Hunter. And then he was beheaded by MaceDavid the Hutt wrote:Who is the better Bounty Hunter? Jango or Boba?
You must have one weird ass uncle!Kuja wrote:LOL, it's like your uncle shaking his finger at you and saying "and stay out of trouble!" or something.
"No disintigrations!"
Twas Tales of the New Republic: No Disintergrations Please By Paul Danner. Kickass story but got dangerously close to fett wankfestLord Pounder wrote:Boba Fett. As bad ass as Jango might have been Boba put an entire Imperial Garrison out of action, ref - Tales of the Empire/New Republic. As stated Boba not only had Jango's natural talent, he was an unaltered clone, he was taught from birth to be the best bounty hunter he could be. Thats why Jango had Boba created to see how good he could have been.
Vader walked right down the line of bounty hunters during the briefing. He then stopped right in front of Fett, pointed directly at him, and said "No disintegrations." It wasn't a generalized statement.Chardok wrote:Ha! He was not only tolerated by vader, but Vader even seemed to take a bit of humor to him! I could almost SEE the smirk/wink on Vader's face when he offhandedly pointed at the group of bounty hunters, to "No one in particular" (IIRC, anyway; i've not seen any SW OT movies for...oh....a year, I guess...) "NO DISINTEGRATIONS!"
Bombing an entire ship to get Senotor Amidala is "bring them in?" I'd hate to see Boba's methods, then.Ender wrote:I think its a bit hard to make a comparison, Jango seemed to go for more "bring them in", while Boba appears to go for more "bring back atleast 60% of the carcass". Capturing live prey is much harder then hauling a corpse, so their return ratio is going to be off.
Nute Gunray wanted her dead. If he brought her back alive he'd get a reduced ree or none at all.Rogue 9 wrote:Bombing an entire ship to get Senotor Amidala is "bring them in?" I know. Just wondering where he got the notion o fJango being a "bring them in" type. (Note: I haven't read the novels set in the time of the prequels, so it may be something I just haven't gotten to yet.)Crazedwraith wrote:Nute Gunray wanted her dead. BOBA FETT: "What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to me."Ender wrote:I think its a bit hard to make a comparison, Jango seemed to go for more "bring them in", while Boba appears to go for more "bring back atleast 60% of the carcass". Hence his capture of the Devorian in Tales of the Bounty Hunters. Alive = 5 million, dead = squat !Boba Fett wrote:BOBA FETT: "What if he doesn't survive? I would say Boba appears to go for more about the income value.
Do you enjoy nitpicking? (See bolded statement. Ass.)Rogue 9 wrote:Vader walked right down the line of bounty hunters during the briefing.
