Either some time after the Republic is fully established, and have a war (Star Wars ya know) I doubt I'd follow that damn Sith War thing. This would allow for slower weaker craft so you could really drag things out plus have Jedi. The other time would be after the OT. Possibly a Thrawn appearance but something were the Empire is shown being dragged down the gutter.

I'd make a movie about the Sith War or the hyperspace war. That would be very cool. If the movie was about the hyperspace war, we could see what type of propulsion SW used before hyperdrive. *cough* warp drive *cough*

I would, quite honestly, do a SW movie long before the prequel era. It would try to cover the rise of the Jedi Knights, and deal with a few heroes along the way.

the ultimate trillogy would be the Heir to the Empire trillogy, it has everything, it has Thrawn, it has huge space battles, it has intrigue, it has the Nogri, and it has Mara Jade, to maske it better we need some excuse to see her nude.

For Mara Jade, how about this:

When Karrde has capture dLuke, he manages to escape, and Mara goes after him. They both start trekking back through the jungle (full of ysalamiri), before making it back to 'civilization'. Well, the jungle is full of sharp stuff, so her outfit will get ripped, and if it rains it will get plastered to her body like a second skin. Good enough?

also cool: a movie about the first hyperdrive equipped ships from Correlia, the resulting foundation of the Old Republic, and the rise of the Jedi.

I'd rewrite the EU a little bit, and focus on the YV invasion, but without all the sci-fi chic, and with more of the Imperial Remnant in all it's glory. Perhaps, I'll do something with Thrawn, Pellaleon, and orbital ardments. I'll probably make it a trilogy.
