Information: This ship's sole purpose is to obliterate Planets surfaces from the sky. Aswell as crush attacking Capital ships. And though they may seem lightly armed. Our newest weapon makes up for it, in sheer force.

These new weapons are called Gamma Beam Projectors. They are in a line of weaponry that Mandalore Inc. has been producing, and though they all may be difficult to create. Once we piece together the puzzle, we bask in their benefits. They are superweapons, of course, we are pointing out the obvious when we state that. But thats what we create best.



The concept design of the Projectors was rather simple. Our workers are truly devoted to these types of things. So, lets see how it works. First, we needed a Parent Nucleous (Cobalt-66) And a Daughter Nucleous (Ni-60). After we had managed to piece those into hour Beam Projector, through nanotechnology, and just hard work with long hours. We had to make a completely new computer chip for the weapons. That we've dubbed MS-Gamma-0098.--1. With that chip, we forced a decay reaction through the nucleous'. Thus making them become 'excited' after the reaction had been completed. This means that the decay has resulted in producing a nucleus which still has excess energy to get rid of. Rather than emitting another beta or alpha particle, this energy is lost by emitting a pulse of electromagnetic radiation called a gamma ray; Like all forms of electromagnetic radiation, the gamma ray has no mass and no charge.

The Gamma Beam interacts with material's by colliding with the electrons in the shells of atoms. And through the intense surge of high voltage energy that the Gamma Beam creates, it causes whatever it interacts with, to melt to nothing, almost instanly. This is what we loved so much about the weapon. For instance, since this is just a Beam of energy, it completely bypasses all types of shields. Which is perfect for combat situations. In one of our tests, we managed to complete destroy an Executer Class Star Destroyer (Through simulation). It's effects on organic materials, such as humans, was bizarre, only because it did not melt them as it did metals. Instead, their skin began to wither, then turn black, and finally gleam of bone was all that was left.

We will speculate no further on this weapon, only say that we are currently tossing the idea of making these into Rifles, Turrets, and Droid Add-Ons. Expect to see more of these weapons, in future Mandalore Inc. Projects.

Also if I'm correct Gamma has a poor pentration factor.
