-since I haven't been able to locate a copy of the tpb Union. Who was the Best Man and Maid of Honor out of curiosity? I'd think Han and Leia, but I don't know.

Don´t remember.
But the one thing, that troubled me was this thing with the computer-virus the assassins threatened to release and to destroy the entire NR with it.

Yeah I read about that.
And we all thought Timothy Zahn had finished off the 'Imperial comeback of the week' threats...

The isolation of the NR in communications would have crippled the NR seriously. We 're only left to wonder at how Bill gates manage to travel in time back to a galaxy far far away to design computers.
