TIE fighter, X-Wing and AT-AT laser yields
I did a search and didn't come up anything obvious. So, what are the yields of the laser cannons employed on TIE fighters, X-Wings and AT-ATs? Kilotons? Hundreds of tons? Tens of tons?
Artillery. Its what's for dinner.

Some people should learn to search the archives or keep links of interesting technical discussions.
As for the fighter yields, go buy the AOTC ICS, its been out for well over a year now, going on two (although some point to the asteroid field chase in AOTC as proof of that range of firepower as well.)

It was 64 and 138 kt actually. 3.8 MT "high end", but the last figure is unlikely to be accurate.Ender wrote:Max yield on AT-AT guns as a low end of 17 kt per bolt to 6 MT per bolt high end.
TIE and X-wing yields are single digit KTs
And this is for "maximum firepower" of course, with an unknown recharge rate between shots (although the Force Commander game implies max firepower has a fairly long recharge rate 20-30 seconds maybe IIRC.)

The firepower for the AT-AT guns... how in the hell does one obtain useful numbers from observing their effect on a power generator in a universe where power generators tend to explode? When I look at that scene I see a small yellow spark, then a huge explosion as the generator blows to hell and back. What do you guys see?
"Do not worry, I have prepared something for just such an emergency."
"You're prepared for a giant monster made entirely of nulls stomping around Mainframe?!"
"That is correct!"
"How do you plan for that?"
"Uh... lucky guess?"
