Bubble or hull hugger, which is it for the ISD?

Shield wise, which is the shield design for the ISD.

The shields of an ISD hug close to the hull. Just watch the movies. All of the shots seen hitting ISD's relatively close to the hull.

I think they mostly hug the hull closely, but can be extended to reach out further. In The Courtship of Princess Leia, the Falcon manages to get under the shields of a Star Destroyer and blow its bridge away.

Both, Shields are generaly set next to the Hull or can be moved out (Ref :FlameWind)

However it seems according to COPL that Particule Shields are set farther out though its unknow how much but to give a refernce while the Falcon is skiming over the surface of the ISD less than two meters above it they think they are under the shields giving us a rough estmate of them being between 20-30 Meters away from the ship

In "Darksaber", one Star Destroyer was able to extend its shields to cover another one.

Darksaber (Hardcover)

pg.67: "Drop back. We will parallel the Whirlwind. Harrsk's ship is dead in space, so increase our shields to protect him in case any of Teradoc's ships come after us."

pg.68: "Our shields are on full, Admiral," one member of the bridge crew said, voice trembling. "We have covered both ourselves and the Whirlwind, but the shields are diffuse. We cannot withstand a full-fledged attack if the Victory-class ships--or our own--decide to take us out."

If that is true the ISD's have a few serious flaws with their shield designs.

The shields where down at the time or do you think an ISD can stand up to two Battle-dragons where pounding it along with the Fact that Solo expolited Zinzji's tempure and ego(He ducked in close, let them slap a tractor on him, then when he was under the particule shields hit the Trator with a pair of missles then ducked in and skimed along the Hull towards the tower and hit it.

I'd go with both. One bubble shield would render parts of the ship exposed once something passes the shields. But, with a bubble shield, the asteroids in TESB would have incinerated on impact with bubble, unless either the shields weren't up, or the bubble has only ray-shielding.

If there is no evidence of a bubble, why should we expect it to be there?

I can't remember seeing any bubble shields in the movies...
