Do all civilizations in the SW galaxy...

...lay within the sphere of influence of the Galactic Republic/Empire, or are there some that have so far escaped detection or simply haven't attracted any commercial interest?

The Corporate Sector, Hapes Consortium, Ssi-Ruuvi Imperium and the Chiss are all idependent and autonomous. The Yuuzhan Vong dominate whole galaxies elswhere.
I posted this earlier, what happened to it?

I posted another thread like this to Other Sci-Fi mistakenly. I made a note that it should be removed.
Thanks, I'll see what I can dig up about these entities and get back with more questions if I have them.

All of these lie within the sphere of influence of the NR and Empire, at their respective heights. Significant socio-economic changes in either of those groups can and did have significant impacts on the CS and the Hapes Consortium, and the Emperor's death and the subsequent rise of the NR produced extremely powerful repercussions in the Ssi-Ruuvi Imperium.
