Just wondering where it falls into the tree of canon?

Before comics? before games? before ICS even?

It's Official level. I'd say about as high as the other SW television projects.

I'm curious about this myself (ref: Blaster fire speed thread). Since it's actual "filmed" material that was authorized by LucasFilm, which generally gets the stamp of "absolute canon."

As I said:

Yeah, I was in the middle of typing my post when you replied, I guess. Didn't see it.

So Official would place it...where? Above ICS? Below it?

ICS is low-level Canon. Official is below Canon.

You don't know the Canon-Official hierarchy, do you?

I know a few of them. Which one are you referring to presently? :P

Seriously, so many people have so many differing opinions on what's what, I can't keep it straight. I go one place and use that only to have people say, "What? That's not canon!" or some bull like that. So, forgive me if I'm a bit tired of trying to figure out what goes where.

The SW.com databank places Clone Wars ships and such in the EU category.

Ah, ok, that's a bit more clear. Thanks, Howedar.

Not really, i;m pretty sure you would not have grant any other wish than the wish that i wished. So i don't wish that i'd wished another wish. :D

In terms of dealing with contradictory evidence:

Movies

ICS, VD, novelisations, comic depictions, radio dramas, and screenplays

All other EU (including SWHS and Clone Wars).

Maybe the title of the thread could be changed to something like: "Clone Wars Cartoon is EU-level Canon."

The current title blows for a Sticky.

I'll agree to that.

It's a horrible thing what Lucas did, letting Cartoon network further taint his once pure and good universe. If lucas doesn't come through with the Clone Wars, I don't think I'll ever watch Star Wars again... at least not until it comes out on DVD.

Not to tease (okay, maybe just a little) Spanky, but does this mean you consider it on the same level as the Ewok Adventures, Droids cartoon and the Star Wars Holiday Special?

; )

I don't know why the title was changed to that. :|

To answer the question, though: yes, basically. But the HS is technically lower than the three cartoon series, IIRC.

Kurgan is going through the analogy that they are too many cooks in the Star Wars pot.

Actually I was quoting the Holiday Special, but your analogy is quite good, I think I'd drink to that one! ; )

What level canon are the Star Wars games created by Lucas Arts considered?

by Spanky The Dolphin
Low-level EU.
