Will you dress up for Episode III?
I was just thinking about it today and I decided I probably will. I'll go as Darth Malek, sure he's not in Ep III, but he's the coolest Sith since Darth Vader(which you know they'll be a million people as) and I sort of look like him.
So you gonna dress up as a character?

I dressed up as a Jedi for EI and EII, so I don't see why I should break the tradition. I think it's good, clean fun.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Hell no.
The only appropriate time to dress up is on the day of premiere. Dress up any other time and you just look like a moron. At least where I live you would.

I'll dress as a Jedi for opening night, but no shit I won't dress up when going to see it the fourth (or second, for that matter) time.

I'd dress up for opening night just because it would be fun, but only if I could have a really cool uniform (like a stormtrooper), and I don't have one.

Well, I didn't dress up for the first five, so I don't see the point in starting now.

If I had the resources I would.
Not like I'll have a chance again.
Maybe if they do the LOTR 20th Anniversary SE...

You can buy them though; the method to make the suits has been out there long enough.Darth Wong wrote:I'd dress up for opening night just because it would be fun, but only if I could have a really cool uniform (like a stormtrooper), and I don't have one.

I don't know about Iowa, but around here there'll be more dressed up for SW than for LotR. For EII, we had long overnight lines (vs. like twenty guys for RotK), complete with outdoor projector showing the other four movies all night long.DPDarkPrimus wrote:Only three people in this entire city dressed up for RotK. Oh, I can practically guarentee that there will be at least a few places in the world that will be showing all three extended cuts theatrically within the next year or so.Gandalf wrote:If I had the resources I would.

I'm not sure if I'll even SEE Ep 3, given the sucktitude of the other two.

I voted yes, because I will if I can get a costume together and convince some other geeks to go with me. We'll just have to see what my situation is, seeing as I'll be in college then.

Hell No. It's just a movie. I limit my dressing up to wearing a helmet when watching war movies at home.

True, but one must either devote a lot of time and energy to make your own suit or purchase one for a considerable sum of money. Yeah, it's right up there with buying a Master Replica lightsabre. If I was filthy rich and had more money than sense, then definitelyTrue, but one must either devote a lot of time and energy to make your own suit or purchase one for a considerable sum of money. I have other priorities.
