Will you dress up for Episode III?

I was just thinking about it today and I decided I probably will. I'll go as Darth Malek, sure he's not in Ep III, but he's the coolest Sith since Darth Vader(which you know they'll be a million people as) and I sort of look like him.

So you gonna dress up as a character?

No.

I dressed up as a Jedi for EI and EII, so I don't see why I should break the tradition. I think it's good, clean fun.

Hell no.

The only appropriate time to dress up is on the day of premiere. Dress up any other time and you just look like a moron. At least where I live you would.

Nah, don't have a good enough outfit nor skills to make one suitable.

Heh, flashbacks to Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog. No, I will not. I will probably catch a late showing when there aren't as many people.

"Which one of these buttons calls you mom to pick you up?"

I'm just not that into it.

Maybe this time, Triumph can have someone dressed like Frodo walk up and down the line outside the theatre and flip the bird.

Well what other day did you think he was talking about?

I'll dress as a Jedi for opening night, but no shit I won't dress up when going to see it the fourth (or second, for that matter) time.

I'd dress up for opening night just because it would be fun, but only if I could have a really cool uniform (like a stormtrooper), and I don't have one.

If I had the entire set of Darth Vaders armor.....but I don't.

Well, I didn't dress up for the first five, so I don't see the point in starting now.

Well, I didn't dress up for Eps 1 or 2 so I most likely won't be dressing up for Ep 3.

If I had the resources I would.

Not like I'll have a chance again.

Maybe if they do the LOTR 20th Anniversary SE...

You can buy them though; the method to make the suits has been out there long enough.

Only three people in this entire city dressed up for RotK. How many would dress up for Ep3? :P

I don't know about Iowa, but around here there'll be more dressed up for SW than for LotR. For EII, we had long overnight lines (vs. like twenty guys for RotK), complete with outdoor projector showing the other four movies all night long.

Oh, I can practically guarentee that there will be at least a few places in the world that will be showing all three extended cuts theatrically within the next year or so.

I'm not sure if I'll even SEE Ep 3, given the sucktitude of the other two.

I voted yes, because I will if I can get a costume together and convince some other geeks to go with me. We'll just have to see what my situation is, seeing as I'll be in college then.

Hell No. It's just a movie. I limit my dressing up to wearing a helmet when watching war movies at home.

Define costume

Make a few slight changes to my atire, and I already look semi-Sith lordish....

I already have a cloak left over from LotR. Shouldn't be all that hard to rig up a lightsaber.

True, but one must either devote a lot of time and energy to make your own suit or purchase one for a considerable sum of money. I have other priorities.

Yeah, it's right up there with buying a Master Replica lightsabre. If I was filthy rich and had more money than sense, then definitely
