Grand Admiral Thrawn

Post by Angie the Chiss Lord »

Grand Admiral Thrawn is one heck of a guy in my opinion, the way his glowing red eyes contrast so well with his blue skin *sigh* there i go daydreaming again. anyhoo. I think I have figured out how Grand Admiral Thrawn's mind works, it all has to do with logic and probability. basically he gambles the fate of the empire more often than not he's right but there are sometimes he's wrong and he knows when he's wrong. He may find it difficult to conquer earth if he studied our art because there are so many different cultures in one spot but since there is so much war and confusion on this planet as it is i think he'd easily be able to conquer it without much effort because we are too busy with our own affairs to even launch a counter attack plus we don't have the technology to fight something that's hanging in orbit anyhoo i think the esteemed grand admiral is the best character of all. I'd would have loved to have been his bodyguard

Your post at the top. Thrawn would probabely start to rotate in his grave, if he ever read it.

All of it.

And as a tip, I would recommend using seperate paragraphs rather than one huge one.

well excuse me

Ok. Let's say Grand Admiral Thrawn were to want to conquer earth

If he were to look at our planet's art he would go crazy trying to figure out how earthlings think

But in actuallity he would find conquering earth quite easy

People on earth are too caught up in their own affairs to pay a star destroyer in orbit around earth any mind, except for star wars fans who would give up every possession they had to join the empire.

But the Grand Admiral could easily take advantage of our own wars and conquer us in no time

of course George Lucas would probably have a heart attack if a fleet of real star destroyers appeared in our system

The President would immediately call George Lucas to know how to deal with the threat and George Lucas wouldn't know how to deal with it even though he created it he would have no idea who was leading the fleet

If alien spacecfraft suddenly showed up in orbit around Earth, I 100% guarentee that people would notice. The entire world would be going nuts, as it would be THE most importent point in our entire history.

i suppose your right people would quickly put their guns down or rather point them towards the sky but as it is we don't have the means to fight a battle in space anyway and grand admiral thrawn (or any alien race for that matter) could easily conquer earth

Another tip:

If you use punctuation and divide your posts into seperate sentenses, you'll look less like a moron.

Uh... so? Jar-Jar with a System Patrol Craft could easily take over the planet. Just bomb a few cities, and demand worldwide surrender. Whoever doesn't give up dies.

And about not understanding our art: humans are humans are humans. Besides, our art is shitty and primitive when compared to 4D (morphing) slowly rotating holographic sculptures that many SW civilizations undoubtably have.

Technical innovation does not imply improved artistic quality. For shame.

On the subject of Thrawn, has anyone read Timothy Zahn's new novel, Survivor's Quest.

Okay, I've thouroughly (tried to, anyway) analyze this guy's argument(?).

Is he saying that a few ISDs may be able to conquer Earth if (and only if?) commanded by Thrawn? Hell, put me in command of a fully equiped Acclamator and I will bring about a New Order on Earth that will last for millenia. Our strongest weapons can't reach orbiting capships and even if they could they would splash harmlessly off their unshielded hull. TIEs are too fast and maneuverable to be hit by any ADA in our arsenal and I don't think anti-aircraft missiles can even nick durasteel. The Empire wouldn't even have to land armor. Stormies can easily deal with anything in our arsenal. Armor and infantry alike. Imperial SOP for taking primitive worlds such as ours is probably to level a few cities from orbit and demand unconditional surrender. In that case there wouldn't even BE a war. Assuming the normal chain of command exists a mildly retarded hillbilly could play admiral and successfully spearhead this operation.

Thrawn, after intentionally hiding his fleet out-system, would take a group of Noghri and land them at the Louvre and nab the art secretly. He'd then analyze it for weeks, and then use surgical commando and Stormie raids to topple the political-economic structure of the world and force a capitulation in an orgy of purely theoretical plans and tactics developed from staring at the Mona Lisa.
