I reported this waaaay back when the author told TF.N he was working on it, but it's great to get a peak at what it will feature, and to know that Saxton is serving as consultant.
I hope it does have a little for the Death Stars, though.

Awesome. Finally, a detailed account of what happened on Hoth.
(with any luck, it'll show the other battle areas and other vehicles)

From the two pictures...kickass.
Seriously this will ad much to the variety of bits and pieces around here and add to the general store.
Plus hope they do an Endor Battle(both Ground and Space) like they look to be doing for Hoth

Damn straight! Im so glad Lucasfilm has seen value and importance of Saxton's input on these things.Lord Sander wrote:Looking at the Executor bridge, I really hope Saxton has officially put the final nail in the coffin of the 'globe = shield generator' idiocy.

Yes. Specifically, they're sensor globes.
Though I am still personally a bit worried about it, and the picture does little to calm my fears that they may just say they are shield generators.

By the way, it looks strikingly like the barge from Force Commander.
And the whole globe issue, I think it will be one of Saxtons most important goals helping in the process of making this book is, to finally demolish the shield globe thing. So I bet they will be clearly called scanner globes.

If I were him I'd be wise, and throw them a bone. Clearly label them scanner globes, but add the topside scanner globes (there are many) mount shield projectors, while the generators are deeply recessed in the ship's interior.
