When does the Ariam Sector campaign take place?

Post by Darksider »

Does anyone know exactly when the battle in the Ariam sector (From X-wing Vs. Tie Fighter: Balance Of Power) takes place?

A little background on the Ariam sector campaing (Mabye this'll help.)

The rebels are reeling from some major losses in a nearby sector, and they run into the lawless Ariam sector in order to hide out and rebuild their forces. The Empire sends Admiral Senn and his SSD the Vengance to hunt down the rebels. The rebels pick off Senn's task force bit by bit, before finally destroying the Vengance and securing their new shipyard.

Hmm. I haven't played XWvsTF in years, but IIRC the Airam campaign took place after Hoth. That was the one with the interdictor-modified Strike Cruiser Peregrine, right?

Yep.

Did the rebels use the Peregrine to trap the Vengance?
I have'nt played XWvTF in a while either.

(And because I was using a shitty borrowed CD, I never got past the campaign mission where the Uber ballsy rebel captain jumps out in the middle of the Imperial task force, blows up a corvette, and pisses off half the task force's ISDs.)

I think so. I'm not sure though, I'd need to locate my CD, install it and play about half the game and get to that point to be sure. Which, needless to say, I won't do.
