Drop them on a planet with no preparation and Fett is toast. Give him some time to lay something out and he can probably pull it off.

Well the Operation SHADOW HAND era "Darktroopers" as seen in Dark Empire II were attacked by Fett. He blew one to shit with his wrist rockets while he was being Force-choked by Palpatine's Dark-Side-users-of-the-week.

But then again, that Darktrooper was Force-sensitive only, and lacked the heavy weapons/power armor/jet pack.

In an open field, mano a mano, the Darktrooper takes it. But if Fett is hunting the Darktrooper and the Darktrooper doesn't know it, Fett will find a way to take him down. There are plenty of weapons available to him which will get the job done, not least of which is his ship.

Depends on the model. A Phase III, then basically no amount of preparation will help Fett. Unless he brings the Slave 1. A Phase II, and he can probably pull it off without too much preparation. A Phase I, and he can just fly away from it while blowing the shit out of it.

The Phase 3 Darktrooper wins easily. He can move fast or fly and his armour can shrugg of Fetts blaster easily while his weapons will punch to Fetts armour.

He fought one, just before escaping the Arc Hammer. He was almost at the exit, and Mohc appeared in a Phase III suit. He then said something to the effect of "finally, one who will be challenging" and attacked. Basically, in the game, you have to run around, strafing a lot, and stay alive long enough to empty half of your guns into him. Only a truly obscene amount of firepower brought him down.
