Imperial defensive structures.

In order to protect the exit side of the typical wormhole found in most crossovers, what kind of defensive perimeter would the Empire be able to set?

Probably emplace Golan Series OWPs, a TIE CSP, plus at least some ISDs standing guard.
Also, a CGT for spotting cloaked ships.

CGT where some kind of sensors devoted to tracking gravitic signatures of cloak shields, IIRC.
What are TIE CSP or Golan Series OWPs? A brief description and a comparative of their firepower with standard Imperial vessels would be very useful.

The Golans are defensive platforms that are armed with TL emplacements of easily MTL and LTL, with a few I believe of HTL capablities.
Also I belive they have a substantional shield that can take an ISD2 alpha strike.

Yep.

TIE CSP = TIE Combat Space Patrol, ie. fighter cover.
Golan II and III series Orbital Weapons Platforms are the GE and later the NR's main orbital defence structure. I believe the II model is comparable to an ISD-II in firepower and shielding, whereas the series III is slightly superior.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Depending upon the size of the wormhole, simply generate a shield encompassing the entire thing, preferably a series of shields, with only the section being traveled through shut down of each shield as needed.
Building sufficient interdictors to completely blanket the surrounding area would be another good idea, even if the potential invaders drive technology is unimpeded, it allows reinforcing task forces to be jumped in with pin-point precision.
If you want to be really annoying, project a holographic display on the inner surface of the shield, presenting a completely bogus starfield and surrounding area to confuse recon efforts.

AFAIK, CGT's are just really really accurate gravitic sensors. They arent specifically related to the cloaking system.
Also, i would recall the Golan II and III series of Orbital Fortresses being mentioned somewhere to be more than a match against an Imperator I or II.
