Mmm-hmhm-muahahaBWAHAHAHAHAHA!
*ahem*
The EU is the "Extended Universe" or "Expanded Universe" of Star Wars. This encompasses everything that isn't the movies, the novelizations
of the movies, the shooting screenplays of the movies, and any official radio dramas made of the movies.
So if it's a SW novel or sourcebook, it's considered part of the EU.
That's the short explanation.

EU stands for the Expanded Universe. It basically includes every official source in SW continuity outside the canon films. This includes rpg material, novels, computer games, comic books, and many other things.

That would be the "Expanded Universe", basically the short name for everything that is officially Star Wars that doesn't fall into the category of the movies, the novelisation of the movies, the scripts and the radio plays.

My opinion on this is simple... "no comments"

I'm working on it, actually, though I was supposed to keep it hush-hush.

As long as there are no contradictions, yes.
EU is considered "Quasi-Canon", meaning that it's canon as long as it's not contradicted by Absolute Canon (the films, novelisations, radio dramas). If there are contradictions, Canon overrides the EU on those individual points and nothing else.
