Can Jedi wear armor or does it have some kind of cost that's unacseptable. (please no game rules.)

In the NJO, they wear armour on most of their missions

So it's possible, but (most)OR jedi chose not use it.

Why exactly should they not be able to wear armor? :?:

I think he's asking if there's some obscure Jedi rule that keeps them from wearing armor.

since the number of jedi were very few, they can afford it. The reason that they were wearing this armour, was because of what the Vong were throwing at the jedi in the Ground engagements and infiltration missions, such as the hunt for the Voxen in SbS (I think).

I cant remember the specifics of the armour though.. some sort of extra padded Flight suit, or somthing similer

The idea that Jedi can't use armor is stupid and I hate it.

Whatever happened to 'please no game rules'? :P

And I see no reason why armor should hinder a Jedi any more than a mundane.

I hate it too, I think it was invented to RPG for balance (jedi+armor =nearly impossible to beat.)

Of Course not, its just that you seem to have endless threads about things in KOTOR :)

there is far more to the GFFA than that single game

Irrelevant as Vader has no choice.

Almost. You DO know where games, and especially game mechanics reside in the canon hierarchy, do you?

Bzzzt. Wrong. The fact that he did, wether voluntarily or not, and STILL had access to his force powers means that it's not a problem.

so, there you have it, in Canon as well, Sith/Jedi Can use armour with muchout of a hinderance.

you have access to a book shop where you live? there are a fair few books you can get, where jedi use armour, and of course, you get to read about big explosions, fleets being blown to buggery and such things.

if you havent, may i suggest amazon, or anouther equivilent?
