Can Jedi wear armor or does it have some kind of cost that's unacseptable. (please no game rules.)
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

So it's possible, but (most)OR jedi chose not use it.antitrek wrote:In the NJO, they wear armour on most of their missions
In KOTOR some Force powere impossible to use with armor (apart of Jedi Robes)Batman wrote:Why exactly should they not be able to wear armor?
since the number of jedi were very few, they can afford it. The reason that they were wearing this armour, was because of what the Vong were throwing at the jedi in the Ground engagements and infiltration missions, such as the hunt for the Voxen in SbS (I think).Lord Revan wrote:So it's possible, but (most)OR jedi chose not use it.antitrek wrote:In the NJO, they wear armour on most of their missions
Whatever happened to 'please no game rules'?Lord Revan wrote:In KOTOR some Force powere impossible to use with armor (apart of Jedi Robes)Batman wrote:Why exactly should they not be able to wear armor?
I hate it too, I think it was invented to RPG for balance (jedi+armor =nearly impossible to beat.)Galvatron wrote:The idea that Jedi can't use armor is stupid and I hate it.
That was the reason for this thread no an argument.Batman wrote:Whatever happened to 'please no game rules'?Lord Revan wrote:In KOTOR some Force powere impossible to use with armor (apart of Jedi Robes)Batman wrote:Why exactly should they not be able to wear armor?
And I see no reason why armor should hinder a Jedi any more than a mundane.
I know, I just want what's canon and what's just game mechanicsantitrek wrote:and Lord Revan , not everything in starwars has anything to do with KOTOR
Irrelevant as Vader has no choice.antitrek wrote:The most obvios example of a ISTH useing armour, is of course, Darth Vader
Almost. You DO know where games, and especially game mechanics reside in the canon hierarchy, do you?Lord Revan wrote:Is KOTOR to be considered an absolut no no in this forum????
True I just don't much of the EU, so I want more info and this is way.antitrek wrote:Of Course not, its just that you seem to have endless threads about things in KOTOR
there is far more to the GFFA than that single game
Bzzzt. Wrong. The fact that he did, wether voluntarily or not, and STILL had access to his force powers means that it's not a problem.Lord Revan wrote:Irrelevant as Vader has no choice.antitrek wrote:The most obvios example of a ISTH useing armour, is of course, Darth Vader
With that I can agree.Batman wrote:Bzzzt. Wrong.
