Has anyone eles seen these horrible ads for the AotC DVD? It's shows alot of the Yoda/Taranus fight with the phrase "WHO DA MAN?" "YODA MAN!" like their trying to sell some sort of straight to video Disney piece of shit. The radio ads are just as bad, but I don't exactly remember how they went at this moment.

The thing that gets me is that I see the commercial once and it says "get your copy today!" The next time I see it, it's saying, "In stores November 17th!" Gees, quit jerking me around.

Lets face it marketing types have to justify their jobs by thinking up some useless bullshit to so call "describe" their products. Take Nike for example. But anyways, it's not that the commercial was utterly stupid, but it was the voiceover. " Yoda man", what kind of dumb ass thought that up. If it just had Yoda and Dooku duking it out with just the normal sound effects and music, then next it shows that it's coming out on November 17th, I would have been satisfied with that.

Honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought. Certainly better that those Wal-Mart ads.

I thought it was going to be like those cinema ads where they talk to people outside of the theatre after they watched the movie.

A bit tounge-in-cheek, but still pretty lame.
