MY FUCKING FAVORITE:

The battle of Hoth is enhanced with a ground battle between the Rebel soldiers and stormtroopers

The Empire's finest schooling Rebels some more! Yes!

EDIT: or not, apparently MF.com says they're blind.

Fixed. Just add L.

Luke's [actually, the Emperor's] inane scream when he jumps to escape Vader on Cloud City is gone. And there was much rejoicing.

Perhaps this was in the 1997 special editions, but in the various background shots of the new Death Star, its appearance changes and you can see progress as the station takes shape.

Holy shit.

What does this do for us maximalists and Imperial industrial capacity?
Temuera Morrison does the voice of Boba Fett
ARRRGHH GODDAMMIT. This is one of my huge pet peeves. Why the fuck would a clone have the same voice as its template?

And Boba doesn't have the "the Kaminoans conditioned him that way" stuff that the Clonetroopers plausibly have.

*Gandalf fills the cup. Is heard 3 houses away.*
Celebrations on Naboo, Coruscant and one other planet, where a statue is toppled right before we see the celebration with the ewoks.
Am I reading this right? Wasn't Coruscant in the SE in that scene?

He was raised by his dad up to a point. I've heard the soundclip, it's fully Kiwi.

They're probably confused. The sentence is strange.

I wonder how that will look? Wasn't there a deleted scene that pretty much had a duo of Rebels get blasted by stormies?

No deleted scenes have been put back in the films.

And I'd hardly call IGN's little list "definative," personally...

So, when we tell our grandkids bout how Han used to just pop Greedo cause he's a bad man, foo, they're going to say 'Yeah right, that's never the way it was gramps'. Thats sad... and I hope by 'more realistic' they mean 'not brain shatteringly lame'.

I was raised by my dad, and my voice is not identical.

That's because you're not identical to your dad.

That's fucking retarded; identical twins are raised nearly identically and do not share identical vocal patterns.

Are you saying that voice is based on your environment rather than physical matters?

Anyway, it's just a convention that everybody does.

True, but they are highly similar to the point where if you didn't know the twins in question you would be forgiven for mistaking one for the other. Besides, Boba never takes off the helmet anyway - and I guess you can rationalise the helmet affecting the subtleties of difference between Jango and Boba's different vocal patterns.

It's plausible enough to work.

Clearly. A New Yorker's accent is hardly genetic, now is it. Nuances of speech are clearly environmental.

Its a convention that fusion reactors blow up. Does that make it not fucking stupid?

The lettering on various Death Star panels are written in Aurebesh rather than English.
Great, but what did they base it on? WEG's version?
The battle of Hoth is enhanced with a ground battle between the Rebel soldiers and stormtroopers.
Stormtroopers or "Blizzard Force Snowtroopers?"
Temuera Morrison does the voice of Boba Fett
Fucking Christ! I liked the original voice. Does this mean they've changed all the stormtroopers' voices as well??

Yay!!! That scream was fucking stupid.

Yeah, it uses the WEG version for the text.

The Stormtroopers have been left alone.

Thank GOD! They actually changed the "Greedo Shoots First" to both shooting at the same time, and aparently the animation has been improved as well. It isn't as good as the original obviously, but this is good enough sounding that I am pleased with whatever other changes Lucas has made.

And thank God they fixed the lightsabers and the matting issues, those were annoying as hell on an otherwise extremely good looking set of movies.

There's an established precedent of them making shit up. I wouldn't discount them from doing it again. :|

I like what they changed. I like what they changed a lot--much better than the original SE changes. BRING IT ON!

I wouldn't feel bad if they, say, spruced up the Endor battle a little.
