I haven't seen it written anywhere on the net, what happened to Jerec's forces after he was defeated by Kyle Katarn in the Valley of the Jedi?
Were they destroyed by New Republic forces, did they split up and dissapeared somewhere?

well in Jedi Outcast Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors are the "only" suvirvors of the "valley of the jedi incident" so they were probaly destroyed (Desan would have probaly used imperial suvirvor(s) to find the valley of the jedi if there were any.)

Ok. But how were they destroyed thats the question. There was no giant battle or anything that destroyed them, I doubt the crews killed themselves. :?

Kyle Katarn killed them all with his bare hands!

lol.
Maybe there was a grand battle, and the last two ships on either side ran into each other, leaving only Kyle and Jan?

It might depend upon what perspective one takes the quote from. In terms of the ground forces that were present on the planet, there were only two survivors as was said - the crew of Jerec's ship was most likely killed directly because of the crash or due to natural causes afterward (injury sustained during the crash, lack of water and food, some sickness encountered on the planet for which there was no available treatment, etc) and then Jerec, his disciples, and his regular troops all got killed by Kyle in duels and as he made his way along.

I don't think the other ships made their way to the planet alongside Jerec's flagship (I can't tell if that's the planet in question or simply a planet the force is hovering around - I'll have to dig my copy of Jedi Knight up sometime): if such is the case, their crews probably didn't know the actual location of the planet, as Jerec would likely keep that information limited to the absolute minimum of people. It's likely that after a while, they just decided to go and join one of the other Imperial fleets and were either destroyed/captured or somehow remain in service, or many of those, seeing the failure of their leaders alongside the other things that were happening at the time, simply said "screw it" and abandoned ship the first chance they got.

What crash? The transport ship? That wasn't the Vengeance.

I would assume the ones who weren't killed by Kyle (with his bare hands! lol) were simply MIA and the New Republic doesn't know their true whereabouts.

That would make an interesting fanfic or story... somebody going after the Vengance... Then again, perhaps there's some retcon waiting to be written, like that Jerec had a cybernetic implant in his heart that would make his ship go self destruct if he died (a la the movie "Spawn").

Actually someone did a full campaign addition to Dark Forces II which had Kyle trying to take out the Vengeance. It was really well done, voice acting and all.

What was the name of it? I may have played it back in the day, or if not, I would like to. ; )
