When did we see PLX's in the movies? Some clip in the SE? Or have they put it into the new DVDs? :?

We don't. However, we know it exists from the EU. I want more Imperial weaponry, hit me with everything you've got, people!

Here are a couple more from the Imperial Sourcebook, under "Infantry Support Weapons":

SoroSuub Equalizer personal ion cannon.

BlasTech CSPL-12 "Caspel" personal projectile launcher

Caspel ammunitions:
- Dye
- Smoke
- T-238 (vomiting agent)
- Cryoban (freezing agent)
- Plank gas (corrosive)
- Spore/B (Bothan stun spores)
- Fex-M3 (nerve gas)

BlasTech Sharpshooter V blaster carbine.

None of these had any illustrations in the book though...

Han's blaster was a BlasTech DL-44. Luke also used one on Cloud City, though his didn't have a scope. Or did you just want ones known to be used by the Imperial military?

Does the Repeater gun from Dark Forces also count?
It was my favourite weapon in the game.

the Golan Arms FC1 flechette launcher is used by imperial forces in Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy games. (In games there is a heavy repeater with energy based concussion launcher (fires explosive energy bolt))

DEMP (Destructive Electro-Magnetic Pulse) Rifle

Just standard Stormies or others too?

Didn't the Jawas have a personal ion cannon in ANH that they zapped R2 with?

That part always cracked me up. The "backstory" of the games for those weapons claim that the Flechette is illegal and used by the Corporate sector. But you have Imps and Rebels using them. Then there's the Disruptor apparently banned by all civilized governments (including the New Republic) and yet it's standard issue at the Jedi Academy for missions. ; )

Then again, modern militaries have all sorts of bans on NCB weapons, flamethrowers, mines, etc and they still stockpile them "just in case."

Then again, we could also conclude that the Imperial Remnant is just desperate and the "black ops" of the New Jedi Order/New Republic just don't give a crap.

All the weapons in the Dark Forces series (after the first game anyway) are based on the "Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology" which has basis in the EU. Most of it is pretty accurate to the descriptions but there are a few exceptions (like the Seeker and Laser Trap).

A nice list of weapons shown just in the movies would be cool though...

Still, the Concussion Rifle is a fun weapon! : )

The "Plex" missile launcher is also listed in the Imperial Sourcebook, which is EU. According to SW Databank, the Plex-1 was used by Clone Troopers, and the Plex-2 by Imperial troops later. Must be the launchers those ARC Troopers used on Muunilist in the CW toon.

I got your PLX right here.

What about Dark Forces/Jedi Outcast weaponry?

Heh, we should make an ultimate Imperial Army page, Vymp. It'd be great to have that hosted. 8)

LOL, mirroring my Uber Russian Army page? :)

Imperial weapons generally guys- don't care who uses them, as long as they're infantry/guards etc and have been observed. No Rebel stuff.

Illegal for ordinary citizens is different than illegal for Imperial military. See the bitching about .50 cal rifles thread for a RW comparison.

One of the the disrupter designs was specially created for Imperial Intelligence.

What really cracked me up about the computer game was that the brutally short ranged disrupter morphed into a sniper weapon.

Ok so adding to those so helpfully added, we have the

DX-2 and DXR-6 Disruptor rifles

Merr-Sonn CR-24 Flame Rifle

"Darktrooper Over/Under Rifle/Rocket Launcher"- anyone know what it's called?

For the weapons of the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series (these are fan-created info pages of course; if you want official info consult the manuals):

Dark Forces:

http://www.jediknight.net/index.php?act ... ge=weapons

Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight:

http://www.jediknight.net/index.php?act ... ge=weapons

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast:

Single player:
http://www.jediknight.net/index.php?act ... ge=weapons

Multiplayer:
http://strategy.jediknight.net/weapons.shtml

Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy:

Single player:
http://www.jediknight.net/index.php?act ... ge=weapons

Multiplayer:
http://strategy.jediknight.net/jka/weapons.shtml

I couldn't find a good page for Mysteries of the Sith, but that list is basically identical to the Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight list, except for the following (from memory):

Remote Sequencer Charges (mines can be placed and set off by hand switch now, adding a third option for detonation). Used by New Republic & Empire (Mutiplayer).

Seeking Rail Ammo (Red Rail Detonator charges used by the Rail Detonator that home in on targets, not fooled by Force Persuasion! Can be used in addition to regular ammo. If no target is present, acts like a regular Rail Det). Used by New Republic & Empire (Multiplayer).

Carbonite Gun (short range spray of blue dust, freezes enemies in a shell of hardened carbonite, then can be shattered with a rifle butt or explosion. "unfreezes" after a few seconds with no damage). Used by Bounty Hunters (Multiplayer) & New Republic.

ElectroScope (attachement for E-11 Blaster Rifle, gives it an infared sniper scope. Increases accuracy and damage. "Scout" class, including Scout troopers, carry a version of this scope with a "silencer" built-in and 4x damage). Used by New Republic & Empire (Multiplayer).

Flash Grenades/Flash Bombs (like a weak thermal detonator which does a tiny bit of damage, but temporarily "blinds" a target that the bomb explodes on. Force Seeing and the ElectroScope prevent the bomb from blinding, instead causes only a momentary bright green flash. does minimal damage). Used by Bounty Hunters (Multiplayer) & New Republic.

E-Web Heavy Repeating Blaster (A one-man Emplaced Gun, has a swivel base and the user "rides" in it, has two firing modes for rapid fire and slower but more powerful fire of some kind of high powered energy. Only used by New Republic in single player, but it's an Imperial Weapon so...)

Right E-Web also seen being set up to blast the Falcon in ESB.

Yeah, I'd point out the "E-Web" used in the Mysteries of the Sith game is quite different from the one used in Jedi Academy (that one is more like the one in the movie, though obviously with a much faster setup time and we actually get to fire it!). ; )

More about it here (Jedi Academy Multiplayer):

An assault cannon.

We don't know the manufacturer. I'm willing to be its Merr-Sonn; they're experienced in making seeker missiles.

Oh wow. Look at what just popped up on Databank. Couple of Imperial infantry weapons here, at least.

He also forgot to mention the fact that the Saber-class fighter tank is also used by the Imperials, evidenced in the VERY SAME GAME!
