I read my USA Today a few days ago and found an article talking about the new Star Wars DvD's and had some trivia about the Star Wars trilogy. It was fairly interesting as an article in itself, but what really stood out to me was one snippet which could really help further muddle the canonicity "debate," particularly as to whether Boba Fett's death is canon or official or hooby booey.

• Lucas reconsidered going back and glamorizing the death of bounty hunter Boba Fett, a secondary character who became a cult favorite. He considered "having Boba Fett survive and crawl out of the" mouth of the sand creature in Jedi. "But that doesn't quite fit in the end."
Enjoy.
Boba Fett lives?
