Has anyone else noticed this in ROTJ?

During the scene where Luke is hiding from Vader in the throne room, Vader is obviously holding Luke's lightsabre in his other hand- you can see it's silhouette and glint clearly from certain angles- this is backed up by the fact that the novelization describes Luke rolling his lightsabre out to Vader from the darkness (goes along well with "I will not fight you"). When Luke goes into a rage, he yanks it from Vader's belt (in the novelization, but it's obvious in the film that Vader's holding it).
I think they should've kept that in there.
