Shadows on Tatooine

Since tatooine is a binary system there should be multiple shadows of objects. Yet in all the scenes depicting Tatooine's surface only one shadow is seen. It would work if that particular side of tatooine was illuminated by one of the stars only. But however as seen in ANH two close stars can be seen in the sky at the same time.

The lesser sun had its shadow generating powerZ overpowered by the brighter sun? The weak shadow was barely noticable?

Funny how this all relates to your new username :D

Maybe Tatoo 1 and 2 are fairly close to each other, and Tatooine just orbits around both, so they're always close to each other in the sky?

Basically, yes. Tatoo I and II orbit around each other close enough that the rest of the planets in the system can orbit around the pair safely. Addionally, the suns' angular difference is actually small enough so that shadows on Tatooine appear to be singular but with hazy edges.
