I have some conflicting evindence on ARC-troopers.
First. The book "SW:The Cestus deception" gives the impression that ARC-troopers have been used since the battle of Geonosis, but the comic where the Battle of Kamino was depicted said that they were in stasis until that battle and they were activted to defend Kamino.
Second. there two versions or acronym Avanced Recon Clone and Avanced Recon Commando
Could somebody help me in solving delema of mine.

Perhaps the "Five Special Commando Units" under Windu's command were experimental ARCs, though not formally designated as such?
As for the acronym, I've not a clue. Maybe ones the official term, and the other the less formal one?

Official site says it's Advanced Recon Commando.
Sometimes people make up shit when they don't know something, and sometimes even don't always update their errors, or things just continue to spread around by people who don't know any better.

No speacial commando units were Clone Commados (one step under the ARC in GAR) and A-17 (AKA Alfa) was in stasis, but A-98 (AKA Nate or Jangotat (Jango's brother in mandalorian)) was suppose to be in Geonosis)

Does it specifically mention THE Battle of Geonosis? Could there have been another battle at Geonosis after the ARCs were activated?
It's probably just one of those fucked-up mistakes that we have to live with....

so other form either poor translation (Erikoistieduslu-kloonit instead Erikoistietelukommando-kloonit (erikois means accually special, but is a better translation then kehittynyt(=advanced) for the ARC-trooper)) or bad wording is the comic.

The book talks about the Jedi who fell in the Arena, so it's that Battle of Geonosis (unless you want to think that the Jedi are so stupid that they fall for the same trick twice).

That would make the Jedi as stupid as a typical troll,so I dout that's the case.

Well we actually see the Commando units that Mace Windu uses a bit later don't we?
They aren't dressed like the ARC Troopers we later came to know in the Clone Wars cartoon ("you are the best, the elite") or the action figures or the Clone Wars-era games.
They just look like any other Clone troopers... though I suppose the new uniforms could have been added later, to the ones that survived the battle.

Never trust translations. Altough the translations into finnish are mostly pretty accurate, its allways the best to look to the originating language version instead. (And an absolutely direct translation from Advanced Recon Commando would be Kehittynyt Tiedustelu Kommando, it sounds stupid, which is exactly why direct translations arent used in this kind of instances)
