Some more merry old Thrawn questions

1) I'm just wondering if anyone knew the logistics of transport to and from the Emperor's storehouse on Wayland?
Such as, Thrawn grew 20,000 clones every twenty days. Maybe or maybe not all at once.. but that's still going to either need a very big ship or a lot of smaller flights. Also some type of facility to embark and disembark those shuttles/ships. Plus, you'll need constant supplies to grow, feed and clothes those clones and troops and techs on Wayland.
2) What did Kinman Dorianna tell Thrawn that convinced him, not only that Jedi were a threat, but also to break the Chiss' ethics about preemptive strikes? Furthermore, did Thrawn continue to believe the Jedi threat?

One Star Destroyer would easily do it. A good sized freighter without all the extra equipment of an ISD would do it just as well.
Or a lot of shuttles, since you don't want the one ship to be easy to track as the source of all the clones.

Well, not EASILY; a normal Star Destroyer only has room for ~10,000 troops and passengers IIRC, but opperating on a skeleton crew (and why not, since they're picking up cloned pilots?) they would have room for the full 20,000.

KDY´s Evakmar-trooptransport carries an entire corps and its equipment - more than fifty-thousand men.

Thats what I meant, a skeleton crew- in fact, you could dump most of the crew out and use the clone passengers to fill in the missing crew members. An ISD usually carries 37,000 people, right?

Perhaps, the Chimaera required a 600 man caretaker crew after C'boath took it over. I'm just wondering though, the Falcon spotted nothing technologica, but I would've assumed you would need some type of port facility to handle that much traffic.

Seems totally bizzare. You end up with a trained crew (something which the empire is still short of) lying around doing nothing, a star destroyer away from the fleet, and if the destroyer is attacked it is not going to be at full capacity because it is either running with a skeleton crew (on the way) or carrying a crew that, although very good, isn't used to operating as a group (on the way back).
What would be the point?

I don't know much about the Thrawn books, but couldn't the clones just be shipped in crates? Its not like they need pretty flowers or comfy beds. Bung them in stasis, stack them 5 high. 20,000 clones a day seems pretty trivial with mile long starships.

Not at all.
The trained crew you'd take OFF the ISD and assign them to another ship.
When you're transporting the clones, you have THEM act as the crew, since all of the clones have memories of officers so should be able to man the ISD themselves.

You stilll have a star destroyer out of action for a fair time grabbing the clones, and it's still voulnerable on the way there. And you still have to worry about retraining all the people who are shuffled around and sorting out the chain of command.
And anyway, what's the point? How will doing this help?

Not all the clones are fleet officers. I'm sure a lot of troopers and tie-fighter pilots.

I imagine the easiest way to get it done is to use regular old troop transports. Divy up the clones according to class and ship them off to the neccesary locations.

Should be enough for a skeleton crew though.

Many of the clones were crewmen. That's how Thrawn planned on crewing his new fleet of Dreadnaughts, with the clones. Considering it takes 16,000 men to efficiently crew a
Dreadnaught-class HC, he's need the clones.
I'd go so far as to say most of the new clones were Navy crew, and a minority were Stormtroopers and Pilots.

Quite possibly, but I still don't think there is any advantage to be had by doing it.
