Big hint ... it ends with *torrent*.

Anyways, the extra size lends a lot to it- you can see now, in that broadside shot, that a free-floating cloud of black smoke (remnants from flak?) is obscuring the row of cannons so that you can't see the extra ones you know are there (from the earlier shot of Anakin's fighter flying by them as they fire). It's only visible at all because it has a background, of course.
