Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections
DK continues their tradition of peeling back the hulls and bulkheads of the most awesome vehicles and vessels in the Star Wars galaxy with amazingly detailed illustrations and authoritative descriptive text. Peer inside the new Jedi starfighter, the Republic's Juggernaut turbo-tank, General Grievous' flagship and much more, with illustrations by Hans Jennsen and Richard Chasemore, and text by Curtis Saxton.
From here!

Looks like the Juggernaut's a confirmed item in the movie!

Dude, the Juggernaut has been confirmed twice before:

- Art of Revenge
- The Episode III Teaser Trailer (you can see them behind the Wookies)

But cool find! :)

The VD cover is cool too. But what about ITW? Show us the ITW cover!

Looks like David W. Reynolds isn't writing the VD, James Luceno is. I wonder why? They're both quite good, IMO.

Oh fuck yes!

I guess as with TPM & AOTC, the ITWs come out a year or so later... (Did it? I don't rightly remember when.)

I thought I saw that "crab droid" (VD, lower right) in the Ep. III videogame trailer. Cool look, wonder what it´s purpose is?

Also noticed an almost full view of Grievous´ ship exploding on the third picture from the top, plus banking clan cruisers and an unidentified Seperatist ship (the long Mon Cal-lookalike).

It looks like the Juggernaut is really heavily armed- that cannon near the back might be a minigun blaster.

Sweet. Leave tech books for the technically minded!

Heh, wonder what amusing facts he´ll come up with to make rabid Trekkies shriek this time?

I don't think he's deliberately trying to make the rabid Trekkies shriek, but they'll shriek no matter what he does.

Oh thank God!!! I was afraid some other, not qualified person, would write it and screw things up badly.

Yay!

The only thing that makes Trekkiies shriek is seeing the names Mike Wong and Wayne Poe in the back of the book "who were prominent among the hundreds of people contributing to constructive debates about Star Wars technicalities over the years, resulting in the consensus of conceptual and physical foundations applied in these pages."

Speaking as someone with psychological insight into that sort of mind I can affirm that 4-5 years ago that would indeed be an accurate description of my response to seeing those two names in the back. ;)

But what about ITW? Show us the ITW cover!
From what has been stated over at the Original Site, no ITW for Epi. III is as-so-far in the works. Hopefully one will come out within a year of the film.

Well it pleases me to find out the ROTS ICS is in good hands.

It pleases me that I can use this to emerge victorious over the movie purists over at Descent of the Jedi. Again.

Oh sweet Jesus Christ and Mother Mary, thank you.

The only thing I hate is that I have to wait... :(

Suck it down TFNers, suck it down long and hard!

Luceno and Saxton will collectively dominate the minimalist positions. HUZZAH!

We need something printed black on white for the minimalists to believe it.

Seriously, i´m hoping for at least one hard number concerning fleet-sizes in that book.

Perhaps in the Venator-entry: "At the height of the developing New Order more than a million of the next model of Star Destroyer, the ISD, were in service, of which 25,000 formed the backbone of the trans-galactic operating forces." or something like that.

There is only one minor flaw I can think of with the AOTC:ICS, there are no toilets visible anywhere.

If there's an orbital bombardment (and from what I hear, that is a strong possibility) and the yields in the movie don't agree with the yields in the ICS, I can easily see many Star Trek supporters coming out to say that the ICS's should not be accepted. Depending on what we see in the movie, this could either be really good for the Star Wars side, or it could start a new round of wars between Trekkies and Warsies. We'll just have to wait and see.

OT: I wish the movie was coming out Christmas instead of May of 2005.
