A nice look at bringing the wookies back to the bigscreen, both Peter Mayhew and all the new guys.
It also includes an extended version of the teaser shot, showing the city in the background and the walkers and Juggernaughts.
Funny thing, in the animatics sequence, you could also see the open-air scout walker whose production art leaked about a year ago, but it doesn´t seem to be in the finished shot. (Possibly it´s in the background and hard to see.)
Anyway, there´s no chance I´ll hand out any links where you can find it. Nope, no way.

Hrm. Interesting. Except it tramples on EU continuity again.. I have no great love for the EU, but it's getting a bit silly.

Please elaborate.

Episode III needs Wookies, as far as I'm concerned. We were supposed to to get them in ROTJ. Wookies are lovable teddie bears ... OF DOOM!

For a start, the FX guy say that Chewie's supposed to be young. He's 200 years old! Also, he's a well respected pillar of the Kashykk community the next time we meet him- If you're young at 200 you're not significantly older at 220. Also, it looks like they're on the ground there, in a clear, well-lit area. That tramples on too many EU things said about Kashykk to list. IIRC Chewie's supposed to be a slave at this point, though I could be wrong.

It would seem unreasonable that the entire planet is uniform jungle. A planet's a pretty big place. I can understand the ice planets, and the desert planets, but single-ecosystem forest planets just seem a bit much.

Relatively speaking. The other Wookies are older.

Probably a coming of age thing.

It's in an area with lakes. The Wookies still have the huge trees and the houses etc. Not all planets are geographically homogenous, even in Star Wars.

I admit I don't know enough about it to argue any further. I'm not contesting that we need more Wookiees, though. Gotta have Wookiees. I think the lack thereof is the reason Eps. 1&2 aren't loved as much as the OT; A distinct Wook-lack.

Exactly, some of the funniest/tender moments in the OT involve Chewie:
- not wise to upset a Wookie
- "come here you big coward!" *Chewie shakes his head*
- Chewie grabs Luke in a Wookie hug in TESB
- Chewie puts C-3PO back togehter
- Chewie loses it in TESB in the carbonite chamber etc.
- Chewie almost kills Lando
- Chewie Wookie-hugs Han in ROTJ
etc.

Actually, KotOR has a pretty good reason why it's all forest.

What reason was that?

I'll try to keep it spoiler-free.
It was originally a normal world, but an advanced civilisation used some wierd tech to make the plants grow faster for the purposes of agriculture. Civilisation collapses, machines untended, bingo. Huuge forest.

I
have the game. No need for spoiler minimalisations.
I had forgotten about that plot development. I need to play this game again.
And Vympel don't forget Chewie's 'lead by the nose' maneuver at Endor. His leadership and direction allowed the Rebel Alliance to meet their Ewok allies, and establish a dialogue.

It's Wookiee, dammit!

Goddamn it! I am torn between needing to read that response and the fact that KOTOR is sitting 3 hours away, uninstalled, and all but untouched, thanks to my complete lack of time for it over the past year.
