What happened to R2?

Post by Wicked Pilot »

After watching the DVD, it just occured to me: What happened to R2? We see him in the droid factory, where he shuts down the pouring process and saves Padme. We don't see him again until the middle of the arena sequence after all the Jedi Knights arive and begin kicking ass. Where the hell was he and what the hell was he doing all this time?
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

Note to self: next time, make the R2 your primary target.

Probably ignoring C-3PO, or deleting the 30-minute scene on battle droid assembly from the AotC film reel. He could have been away longer. IOn fact, he could have just left the film, and go into the movie in the theater beside it.

Nah, hacking the TF main computer to make it use Windows as its OS, to ensure it will crash at the most vital point in combat.
