I just finished Visions of the Future, by the great Tim Zahn and i was wondering about Car'das' little tale of him and Yoda on Degobah. After some number crunching. Car'das says he visited Yoda on Degobah 45 years before the events of Visions of the Future which takes place 20 years after ANH. making Car'das story take place 25 years before ANH which is a couple of years before AOTC. NOW This is a person of age telling a tale which happend a good portion of his life in the past so some years could have been added or deleted but he tells that he just arrived on Degobah for the first time right after Yoda defeated the Dark Jedi.
Now is there any other source besides Visions of the Future that say when Yoda went to Degobah first or when he fought the Dark Jedi on Degobah making much of the swamp planet bleed dark force powers and mask Yodas precence on Degobah for years to come?

Where was it stated that the duel resulted in the DS 'contaminating' Dagobah, and was then used as a 'mask' by Yoda?

Not quite.
HttE said the Bpfasshi Dark Jedi went bad 30-35 years before the story. Car'das said 45 years, but he's old. Leia said between 30-35 years, and it seems likely that some records may have been lost or obfuscated by the Emperor's New Order. Mistakes happen.
making Car'das story take place 25 years before ANH
Or 20, or 21, or 22, or 23, or 24 years.

It's possible that the Bpfasshi Jedi was another one who fell to Dooku's influence, and was defeated during the very start of the Clone Wars,
[edit]or just before, by Yoda himself. it was clear in Car'dass' account that the Bpfasshi was terrifying in his power, and his madness. Yoda may have been the only one who could take him on, and win, reliably enough to not expect to take injury.

Not from what I read.
I was hoping you had picked something up I missed. Furthermore, that debate concerned itself about the Cave and how it became a dark side nexus. I've NEVER heard of the ENTIRE PLANET becoming a DS nexus.
