This is the old teaser that is seveal months old and has been discussed on several threads in those months.

It was okay, but nothing spectacular like the ones for the first few. Still, it did what it needed to do.

Damn, and I was excited this was going to be a new trailer.

Is this the trailer with that kickass line--
"Lord Vader..."
"Yes Master?"
"Rise."
*Darth Vader slowly rises on a steel table*
*I squeel girlishly*
I saw that on Coming Attractions...with the afore mentioned effect.

I edited the title to prevent any further confusion.

The "HAH HAH HAH" from Sidious as he swings his sabre is a gush-moment for me.

I think it was OK. I can't make a full impression based just on the trailer. I hope (like the rest of you
)GL will not dissapoint us.

The content was very nice, but the presentation (as compared to movie trailers of this type in general) was rather sucky.

That space battle has me very, very excited.

For some strange reason, I liked Natalie Portman's twin-bagel hairstyle. It ties ROTS in with ANH, loosely, but it just looks good on Natalie. (then again, it's not like the hair looked bad on Carrie Fisher either.)

I still jizz my pants myself when I see it. First time I saw it my eyes welled up.
"Rise..."

Amazing. It got me psyched every time I watched it.

I like the way they ended it, with the TIE engine sound being tweaked as the blood-red ROTS title comes up, then the Imperial March being cut off sharply. Some people complained about that last part, but I thought it fit the whole mood of the trailer: "This is the saga you´ve known for the past 30 years and this is it´s final episode *Starts Imperial March...* *BAM* THE END"

I loved it, but of course being the insatiable being that I am, I voted for; 'could have been longer'.

The 1st time i saw it i near crapped myself with excitement. The trailer is short enough to suggest that better is to follow. Of course i felt the exact same about the trailer for TPM.

People who feel the need to point out the similarities to the TPM trailer, take note: There is no Jake Lloyd, Jar Jar´s role is near-insignificant, no romance subplot. There is however, The Empire, Juggernauts, a Wookie battle, more lightsabres than you can shake a dick at, more Palpatine, Darth Vader, Darth Vader killing Jedi and even more Jedi being killed in battles.

Saw it on my computer first, multiple times. Then when I saw The Incredibles I saw it on the big screen and was grinning like a maniac.

Seen the movie then already have you? TPM also showed many cool scenes. Darth Maul with his double bladed saber, Sideous and his wipe them out line, the Naboo fighters attacking the dough nut. and look how it ended up.
Don't get me wrong, I'm almost on my knees praying that the EP 3 trailer is a good view of whats to come, but like many other warsies i've been burned badly twice now.

I don´t think you´re quite getting my point, but that´s ok. I´ll just assume you have paid little to no attention to the spoilers of the last two years (not that there´s anything wrong with
that, of course).
I´m not just talking about scenes that look "cool" in the trailer and end up taking no more than five minutes of the total film, I´m talking about most of the film itself! Which is where it deviates from the last two, no more secrets, no more waiting for the next one to see how it pans out. This
is the next one! And from everything I´ve gathered over the last year and a half, I´ve gone from "cautiously optimistic" (a tired frase used by certain fans) to plain, old "optimistic".
Nothing ever looked as good as this before the other two, nothing! There were rumors of this Jar Jar-creature being a bad idea and murmurs of the big mistake in making Anakin a little kid, before TPM. Before AOTC, insiders talked about a poor romance in the film and a horrible male lead. For ROTS, nothing. It´s amazing actually, there´s been nothing bad said about the film so far (except for the Yoda-fart, but that appears to have been an ILM in-joke), and the only way people have been made to calm down and await the results is by telling them that it could go horribly wrong in post-production and editing and and.....
They´re almost grasping for straws now, desperate to keep people from getting their hopes up too high. I don´t see why this is such a bad thing, the film is practically a walk in the park by this point. Most of the story is out on the net already, it´s good as it is right now, and I don´t see any tweeking or serious alterations being made to the film or if made, having any overall negative effects.
Even if you don´t follow the spoiler circuits, the official behind-the-scenes docs and articles seem genuine enough. I can´t imagine the entire film crew showing all the stuff they´ve done in the webdocs, and then turning around afterwards and throwing it all away. It just seems like a bigger effort to predict the failure of this film, than before the other two.

Let's just say I'll be very very happy if you're proven correct, VT.

Yeah, me too. I don´t want to end up being another retard who "bought the hype" for a horrible film.
Fortunately, everything seems to go my way. They´ve got a dialogue coach (which they should have had for the first two), Lucas said he doesn´t mind a PG-13 if that´s what it gets (a first for a SW film), all the usual grumpy actors seem genuinely enthusiastic (cough*McGregor*cough), there´s been rumors of a better scriptwriter helping Lucas (either with dialogue or story, I´m not sure) etc... They all seem to want this one to be a great send-off for the saga, and I don´t see any major problems with it.
The only real problem I have, is retards saying they´ll go see it "because it´s SW". They just need to stop embarrassing themselves and giving critics more ammunition against "rabid Lucas-apologists who´ll swallow whatever cum-stain Georgie-boy drips out". We´ve already turned into the new Trekkies in the public´s eye, why give them more to laugh at?
