This is just a heads up because I didn't see this posted yet. According to The Digital Bits, the Revenge of the Sith trailer will be aired on FOX during their broadcast of The O.C. on Thursday 10 March.

And for those of us that live outside of the U.S., the trailer will come online on Hyperspace at around 9.00 PM Pacific Time the same day.

Hell of a way to get a ratings boost.

You'll have to look through alternate channels.

For the record, I wouldn't be caught dead watching The O.C., exclusive trailer premiere or otherwise...

The Official Site will publish the trailer for non-HS members on the 14th of March.

Ditto. Still, must admit it's very enticing....

God bless (well, if a nonexistant entity could bless anything) comcast for putting DVR into their new cable boxes. :-)

Amen to that.

I imagine it'll be all over the internet within hours.

You mean I have to watch that crap? You know they'll only show it during the last commercial break.

Why couldn't they air it during 24?

In Australia they put this on the news, so I should be able to see it the next day.

Failing that, I'll go see Robots, which apparently has this preview before it.

I wouldn't worry too much. The trailer will be everywhere hours after its airing. You'll just have to look around a little. I found the teaser trailer on the net the day it was aired with ease.

I have a funny relationship with the O.C. I'm addicted to it. It's sort of like an addiction to Heroin. I know it's eroding my brain, and that I should stop watching it, but I can't. The only form of 'methadone' for this addiction, so to speak, seems to be to take a sharp object and use it to cut out my eyeballs.

I'm not too far from going that route.

Anyway, the fact that the trailer is going to be on in the middle of it, doesn't help.

*Waits to be lambasted* :P

I wonder why Lucas decided to put the trailer on with the O.C.

It doesn't seem to fit, but it that might be their target audience, except mostly girls watch that show right? I don't watch it nor keep up with it so I don't know.

but it will probably be over the internet within hours as Jadeite said.

I don´t think Lucas worries with marketing. Probably has a group dealing with retarded decisions like this. Maybe it´s a ploy to see how fast the trailer will spread through illegitimate means? :P

Lucas has a pretty firm grip on a certain demographic that will watch this film no matter what. I like the placement of this trailer because, apparently, the trailer is just amazing, and since it is with a TV-14 TV show, that just adds more fuel to the fire that Episode III will indeed be PG-13!

i think it's more likely the chan paid to be allowed to air the trailer

A trailer for the trailer is available on the net now. You can see Anakin killing helpless Neimodians. Cool.

That seems mildly excessive.

It's a TV spot for the show and the trailer.

Ah, so like "The OC... oh, and by the way, there's an Ep III trailer."

Okay, that makes sense.

Yeah. What's making the rounds is basically the second half of the ad.
