Mandalorian armor observation (Spoilers)

There's a nice detail I noticed while playing KOTOR2.
In there's three different kind of Mandalorian armor designs
first there's warrior armor that has helmet that has similar design to Republic Red Guard (AKA Imperial Royal Guard) and it not clear where armor starts and the helmet end.
Second the Veteran armor, similar to warrior armor but has a small groove in face plate of the helmet as part of visor (giving the visor a slight T-like shape), also the armor plates are more clearly defined
Third the Armor of the Maldalore (AKA Canderous Ordo), has clearly defined armor plates, a T-shaped visor and a clearly seperate helmet.
Now the Mandalorian Super-commando( and standard battle armor) of PT and OT era has very clear T-shaped visor, a bucket helmet and clear armor plates.
there's nice evolution from KOTOR warrior armor to the Armor of Jango Fett.
