I taped it! It was actually worth watching one hour of OC to get it! Damn I love this stuff! Now I'm gonna go rewatch it 200000 times...

It'll be on the internet in a few hours, at any rate.

WOW. ILM's best work ever. The CG was FUCKING SEAMLESS! The clone troopers, Yoda, Coruscant...everything.

I'm pretty impressed with what I'm being shown of the cinematography. ROTS uses a style that was once impossible in the 80s. And that is also pretty cool.

Jeez, I really cannot wait until May 19th!

God damn, MillenniumFalcon.com's bandwidth has been sucked up. They're down right now so I can't do shit.

Hopefully I'll be able to see it within an hour or two.

I guess it's safe to say those audio clips in the spoiler thread were legitimate.

And though they were but glimpses, the space battle shots were fucking awesome.

Stupid Canadian Fox feed cut it off! Only the last 5 secs were shown, recording the west coast feed at 11. :( Only saw from the Yoda senate battle, but seeing it in HD is really worth it, too bad the audio wasn't true surround.

EDIT: Do not, I repeat do not try to sit through an hour of the OC for this, it's as bad as people say, not entertaining in the slightest.

Like I said, I predicted it would be at the end of the OC, simply as a ploy to get the young teenage and adult male demographic to sit through it waiting for the trailer.

It didn't work for me, though, since I was gone half the time, but muted the TV while waiting for it to come on.

Some screencaps:

Mysterious gunship over Kashyyyk (think I see a wookie flying machine in the back as well, strange, thought those were supposed to be catamarans going on water):

Corporate Alliance Droid Tank, good piece of CG:

Aayla, Clones and walkers in the back, you can see the head of a troop transport walker, and an AT-TE (at least I think it is) right behind her:

Juggernaut firing missiles:

Juggernaut chin-guns firing:

Theta-class Shuttle with V-Wing Starfighter escort:

Obi-Wan´s Jedi Interceptor landing on Utapau:

Damn. There was some good shit in there. I wonder how much of the movie will be the Palpatine/Anikin relationship?

those Kashyyk gunship loook abit like the CIS gunships from SW:Battlefront.

The gunships in the foreground in the first two shots almost look TF in origin. They sort of remind me of the fanned base of the AATs. Of course, they could be Republic if they've switched to red bolts by now.

I also see that the clonetrooper visors are removable. At least they weren't made permanent fixtures on some of the troops.

I was guessing those gunships were Separatist in origin. Funny enough, they remind me a tiny bit of Shadow Droids. 8)

I think they're CIS from SW:battlefront (what ever it was called) as they look almost identical to it.

Nice to see some continuity with the EU. Those Droid Tanks first appeared in Star Wars: Galactic Battleground: Clone Campaign.

Another thing I remembered from seeing the trailer. When the ARC-170 was destroyed, the bits seemed to continue to move forward a'la Newtonian physics. The only other time I remember seeing that in SW was during the battle of Naboo, when one of the N-1s was blown to bits.

Actually, they first appeared in animatics for AOTC but where discarded. :P

EIDT: He said it above.

I thought most of the fighters shot during the trench run in ANH continued forwards as well? As did the X-Wing that got shot inside the DS II....

The cool part is that you can actually see the body of the pilot spinning with the rest of wreckage. I don't believe that has been done since ESB.

They did, but there seemed to be more of a gravity effect, considering the effects of the time. The use of CG in the prequels allows them to negate that, obviously.
