What if somehow someone with vast resources, like Jerec from the PC game Jedi Knight took control over the Star Forge (Assuming it had survived this long) and starts building ships to strengthen his power and wanted to get rid of Palptine to put himself in power over the Empire.
This takes place during the height of the Galactic Empire (excluding the Rebel Alliance interference) Palpatine sees him as a threat and tries to deal with it, what happens?
This vs is mostly meant for conventional forces only, who can build more ships?

The Empire has a huge initial advantage. If this image is accurate, then the Star Forge is collossal, and could easily output hundreds of thousands of ships in a short time given the apparent rate of matter throughput it has. Combined with Seperatist automation technologies, Jerec could produce a vast fleet in a short time.

Watching the Republic and Sith fleet battle above it in the end game reveals it to be smaller than either Death Star, IIRC.

Wouldn't Artwork trump cutscenes though?Vympel wrote:Watching the Republic and Sith fleet battle above it in the end game reveals it to be smaller than either Death Star, IIRC.

While they do have canon status, I don't think it's the same level as a picture from the databank.Lord of the Farce wrote: Not against rendered CG cutscenes, I believe.

Warning: Mild KOTOR spoilers, though mostly in the links.
As to the height of the Star Forge, over the course of these threads: 1 2 I guesstimated a length/height (along the longer side) of 50 km, though that's probably extreme lower limit, since we don't know exactly how far the 1 pixel tall Leviathan-class cruisers are from the Star Forge.
